When Olivier and his brother joined Tvilum in 2003, it was in many ways a counter-measure to make up for some of the senior sales people leaving the company for positions at a competitor.
When Elchin Ibrahimov, now our Factory Manager at Kjellerup left his native Azerbaijan in the middle of his Bachelor studies to travel the world, little did he know he would find his new home, settle in and start a family in Denmark.
Today, Tvilum is proud to publish its first ever ESG report. Our ESG report highlights our approach towards building a sustainable future through focusing our attention on what Tvilum as a company can do in terms of improving our footprint in Environmental, Social and Governance issues.
Tvilum is one of the forerunners in the furniture industry in implementing Robotic Process Automation across its processes. When we set out on our RPA journey back in 2018, we were merely scraping the surface of what would eventually become an integral tool in our everyday operations.
Last week, our factory in Szczecinek, Poland passed its first major anniversary – the factory opened one the 1st of June 2016. We asked our country manager Poul Lindberg to reflect on the start of our journey in Poland under the Tvilum brand.
We at Tvilum take pride in our employees. 40 years ago, exactly today, our workshop manager Jon Boeskov joined Tvilum as a part-time summer employee. To celebrate his anniversary, we sat down with Jon to look back on his career and ask him what makes Tvilum a great company to work for.
To further strengthen its position as a global player in the ready-to-assemble furniture market, Tvilum has acquired STEENS GROUP. The acquisition raises the combined annual revenue of the Group close to 300M EUR.
